Proof helps Filipino parents document what they spend on their children — and prove it. That means you trust us with information that matters. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
"Proof" ("we", "us", "our") is the Personal Information Controller responsible for your data. We operate the website proof.com.ph and the Proof app, from the Philippines.
Our Data Protection Officer / privacy contact can be reached at hello@proof.com.ph.
Because Proof is often used in situations like annulment or child-support proceedings, some of what you record may relate to your legal matters or family circumstances. Under the Data Privacy Act this can be sensitive personal informationextra-protected, and we handle it with extra care and only for the purposes you ask us to.
You can withdraw your consent at any time — see Your rights.
We do not sell your personal information — ever. We don't use it for advertising.
We keep your data private. To run Proof, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers ("processors"), who may only use your data to provide their service to us:
Because some providers are based abroad, your data may be processed outside the Philippines. We only work with providers that protect your data to a standard consistent with the Data Privacy Act. As Proof grows we may add other secure providers (for example, cloud storage for your account) and we'll keep this list updated.
We may also disclose information if we're required to by law or a valid court order.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and keep our secret keys on the server — never exposed in your browser. We screen forms for abuse. No system is ever 100% secure, but we take this seriously: Proof is a legal-documentation tool, so confidentiality and accuracy are the whole point.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email hello@proof.com.ph. You also have the right to complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
Our website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use only what's needed to make the site work. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this policy first.
Proof is made for parents and other adults (18+). It documents costs for children, but it isn't meant to be used by a child, and we don't knowingly collect data directly from minors.
We'll update this page as Proof grows — the date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we'll let you know.
