Terms of Service

Effective & last updated · 13 June 2026 · Beta

These terms cover your use of the Proof website and app while we're in beta. We've kept them in plain language. By using Proof, you agree to them — so please read the part about legal advice carefully.

1. About Proof

Proof is a personal finance documentation tool for Filipino parents. It helps you record and organize what you spend, and export those records in a format you can use for legal or personal purposes.

2. Proof is not legal advice

Please read this. Proof is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. When we say "court-ready," we mean your records are formatted and sourced for legal use — not that any document is guaranteed to be accepted, or that it determines the outcome of your case. Whether a record is admitted, and what it means for you, depends on your situation, your lawyer, and the court. For your specific case, always consult a qualified Philippine lawyer. (The Public Attorney's Office offers free legal aid if you qualify.)

3. Beta software

Proof is in active development. It may change, have bugs, or be unavailable at times. We can't guarantee it will be error-free or that every transaction is captured. Please review your records for accuracy, and keep your own copies of anything important.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Your data is yours

You own the information you put into Proof. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Pricing

Proof is free during beta. Paid plans will be introduced later — we'll always tell you the price and terms before you're ever charged anything.

7. Our intellectual property

The Proof name, design, and software belong to us. Please don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Philippine law, Proof is provided "as is," and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app — including the outcome of any legal proceeding. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Philippine law that cannot be waived.

9. Suspension & ending your use

We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously misused. You can stop using Proof at any time and ask us to delete your data.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any dispute will be handled by the appropriate Philippine courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms as Proof grows — the date at the top shows when. If you keep using Proof after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
